Ruby Murray

Ruby Murray grew up in the beautiful Bay of Islands and is proud to have returned home to Northland to begin the next chapter of her dental career. She completed her training at the University of Otago before returning north, driven by a strong desire to care for her local community.

Ruby began her career as a Dental House Officer at Whāngarei Hospital, where she worked across clinics throughout Northland. During this time, she gained valuable experience managing dental trauma, paediatric patients and individuals with complex medical needs, developing a calm and confident approach to care.

Now part of the warm and welcoming team at Dental North, Ruby is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with patients and their whānau. She takes pride in creating a supportive, positive environment and helping patients feel comfortable and informed at every visit.

Known for her kindness, attention to detail and genuine compassion, Ruby is highly regarded by both colleagues and patients. She believes empathy and clear communication are essential to great dental care.

Outside the clinic, Ruby enjoys exploring Northland’s running trails, spending time at the beach and unwinding with a good book on her Kindle.
